I have been such a busy teacher lately! Today I got to work with Mrs. Lohner's and Mrs. Skala's class! In Mrs. Lohner's class, we worked on another podcast (using this voice recorder app) - this time, students interviewed each other about their chosen American Heroes. They certainly are getting used to recording their voices, and making sure to speak slowly and clearly, so that the listeners can easily understand and are entertained! Here are their podcasts! Enjoy! When I followed up with Mrs. Lohner's class, I had seen that the class had listened to a few mentor media podcasts, and compared them with their own productions. They had created a T-chart showing things they noticed they are doing well, as well as some things they need to work on. That was FABULOUS! I'm so proud of all the hard work 1st grade is doing with their podcasts! Keep it up! Here is a photo of their chart: In Mrs. Skala's class, we started a new project. We will be creating a short informative film (which we can share with other classes, or the whole school, and beyond!) on how to treat the iPads with respect. The students learned about the word "etiquette", and created a storyboard for their scene. Here are some photos!
